Welcome to the website of The Bloomington Alumnae Chapter (BAC) of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. On behalf of the dynamic ladies of BAC, I extend greetings!

BAC was chartered in 1978 by Sorors desiring to bring public service and support to the Bloomington, IN and Columbus, IN communities. 

​

For over 40 years BAC has provided programs that reflect our sorority’s Five Point Programmatic Thrust: 

* Economic Development
* Educational Development
* International Awareness and Involvement
* Physical and Mental Health
* Political Awareness and Involvement

We are a chapter that believes in our sorority’s rich heritage of Sisterhood, Service, Scholarship, and Social Action. We honor our heritage by continuing to develop and implement programs that are essential for the betterment of our communities. Working collaboratively with like-minded organizations strengthens our impact. Increasing our media footprint allows others to learn about our programs and to take advantage of opportunities that will make a lasting positive impact.
