In honor of Soror Mamie A. Jennings Merrifield’s unyielding love for Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. and honoring her legacy as a founding member of the IU alumnae chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. in Bloomington, Indiana, the Bloomington Alumnae Chapter accepts with sincere gratitude the task to award scholarships to promising students in honor of Soror Merrifield’s life and commitment to public service.
The Bloomington Alumnae Chapter will award 2 scholarships to college women who attend either Ivy Tech Community College or Indiana University Bloomington.

Scholarship Eligibility Criteria:
▲ Attend Ivy Tech or Indiana University in Bloomington, IN.
▲ Must demonstrate financial need
▲ Minimum GPA Requirement: 2.5
